“According to the 2012 Philippines Health Service Delivery Profile, a collaboration between the DOH and the World Health Organization (WHO), only 4 of the country’s 17 regions meet the acceptable hospital bed to population ratio.” - The State of Public Healthcare in the Philippines, Rappler, April 28, 2013

Believing that every Filipino has the right to live healthier lives, Operation Blessing (OB) provides free primary healthcare and other medical services to the poorest of the poor. These services are offered in many ways: regular medical missions, medical assistance, mobile dental clinics, cataract operations, and cleft lip and cleft palate corrective surgeries.

Operation Blessing’s health services are also tailored to meet special needs. OB provides and distributes lightweight yet sturdy “hope-on-wheels” for those who cannot afford wheelchairs. The organization also provides free reading glasses on a regular basis.

Help Operation Blessing bring quality healthcare to people who remain unreached and neglected. With better healthcare, people like Hannah can still have productive lives—not just for themselves, but for their families as well.
